Christmas in Texas

This year we were able to go down to Texas to visit Dad in Houston.  It was such a fun trips.  Pictures say it better than words and it was totally worth the 26 hour drive.

We got in to town just in time for church the next day.

A brief message from our president...

I loved waking up to these two already hard at play.  Bri's scream and giggle followed with a nervous little "Shawn!" became the alarm clock for the trip.  They were awesome buddies.

PIT MASTER!  Best ribs EVER!  Our little Texan knows good BBQ when she sees it.

Freebirds, Elder Josh Valdez's favorite burrito joint and we now know why.  We sure missed him this trip.

As is tradition we left our mark while the family was at church just before we left town.

We had such a great time and were sad to come back to the -12 degree weather.  Can't wait to go back and see everyone again!
